As a certified Early Childhood Education teacher and a devoted mother, I bring both professional training and genuine warmth to every child in my care. In my home daycare, your child is not one of many. They get the attention, patience, and encouragement that helps them feel safe, confident, and truly cared for, every single day.

A Day at Momzi

Every day at Momzi follows a gentle, consistent rhythm that helps children feel safe and confident. Here is what a typical day looks like.

Warm Hellos & Free Play

Each morning begins with a warm greeting as friends trickle in. Children settle into free play, choosing from books, building blocks, puzzles, and art supplies while the group comes together. This calm, unhurried start helps children transition comfortably from home to daycare.

Hands On Activities & Our Weekly Music Program

Mid morning brings our planned learning activity for the day. Some days it is an art project or sensory exploration. On Wednesdays, our visiting music teacher leads a session that builds language skills, coordination, and creativity. A healthy morning snack (provided by Momzi) keeps everyone fuelled.

Active Play in Our Secured Backyard

Rain or shine, children head outside to our fully secured private backyard. They ride tricycles, splash at the water table, dig in the sandbox, play in the playhouse, and bounce on ride on animals. I believe outdoor play is just as important as indoor learning, so we spend 60 to 90 minutes outside every morning and again in the afternoon.

Stories, Naps & Recharging

After a family style lunch (packed by parents), the children settle into quiet time. The little ones nap while older children enjoy stories, puzzles, and calm activities. This midday pause gives everyone the chance to recharge for an afternoon full of play and exploration.

Creative Play & Second Outdoor Time

Afternoons are filled with more outdoor play, creative projects, dramatic and imaginative play, and a second healthy snack provided by Momzi. As pickup time approaches, children wind down with gentle activities and free play. I keep parents updated throughout the day so you always know how your child's day went.
